Mad Witch Hunt

As producer for "Mad Witch Hunt," I managed all project documentation, including the Game Design Document, Art Style Guide, and Production Schedule. Utilizing Scrum and GitHub, I ensured adherence to project deadlines and coordinated playtesting sessions, developing and analyzing surveys to gather feedback. I delegated team assignments and contributed to designing puzzles, focusing on both creative and organizational aspects to maintain project flow.

As a programmer, I became familiar with Ubiq to implement multiplayer gameplay features in the VR escape room setting. I developed the Spell Sequencing puzzle, where players arrange blocks to reveal clues. The player must arrange spell fragments in a specific sequence, triggering a visual hint for further gameplay. These fragments, when correctly arranged, reveal the phrase "When words shine the lock shall unbind," unveiling a hint for the next puzzle. This was implemented using Unity and C#, with a specific script that checks the correct sequence of objects placed in sockets. The code instantiates a new object upon correct sequence arrangement, indicating successful puzzle completion.

Mad Witch Hunt is a VR Unity Escape Room where players role-play as vloggers trapped in a dimly lit witch's chamber, filled with ancient symbols, candles, and a bubbling cauldron. The goal is to escape by solving puzzles that involve lighting candles, hunting for a unique plant ingredient, unscrambling spells, decoding a cryptic door, arranging amulets, collaborating to unlock a mystical book, and mixing potions. Each puzzle contributes to a larger mystery, culminating in a final ritual where a spirit reveals the entire escapade was recorded by an ancient witch influencer. The game combines elements of mystery, teamwork, and magical intrigue, offering an immersive and interactive escape room experience.
